Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid model with at least 12 in-office days per month).

What you will do

• Build and maintain features for the Bolt Food app across mobile and web platforms.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Develop reusable components and solutions to improve application architecture.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React.js and React Native.
• Proven experience with native development in a React Native environment.
• Solid understanding of API design and integration.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable systems and strong system design skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience with reanimated.
• Knowledge of app performance optimization topics.
