What you will do

• Build and maintain robust microservices to ensure seamless communication between internal and external environments.
• Take full ownership of features from initial raw ideas to production-ready deployment.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by proposing and implementing scalable architectural solutions.
• Implement and refine secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth and Auth0.
• Optimize the data layer and solve complex data challenges using PostgreSQL.

Requirements

• Mastery of Node.js and TypeScript for writing clean, maintainable, and type-safe code.
• Strong experience in designing efficient database schemas and performance optimization in PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with ORMs and knowing when to use them effectively.
• Commitment to quality through automated testing with Jest or Mocha.
• Comfortable with Docker, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Berlin, Germany

Nice to have

• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Graylog.
• A track record of mentoring peers or leading technical direction for projects.
