Application Developer (Java)

Location: Remote only within Slovakia or onsite in Košice

Salary: Base salary from 2,000€ brutto

What you will do

• Gather requirements and design application architectures, including interfaces and relational database structures.
• Develop functional applications using Java 21 and TypeScript to automate reselling services like Netflix and Disney+.
• Implement security concepts according to PSA policy and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, including bug fixing and regular feature updates.
• Manage partial project tasks and serve as a professional mentor for junior developers.
• Handle deployment on infrastructure, backup/restore procedures, and release management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in ICT systems.
• Advanced skills with Java 21 and SpringBoot.
• Knowledge of Rabbit MQ, MySQL, OpenSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Cucumber, and Git.
• English: Upper Intermediate (B2).
• Location: Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with UML.
• Knowledge of application servers and databases.
• Experience with custom forms and workflows programming.
