Senior DevOps Engineer II (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms across GCP, AWS, and on-prem data centers for 100+ engineering teams.
• Build and maintain critical shared services including Kafka, Aerospike, and Airflow.
• Develop automation and self-service tooling to transform complex platform operations into simple workflows.
• Drive CI/CD evolution by building operators, controllers, and management tools to reduce toil.
• Define and promote organization-wide standards for automation, observability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead high-impact infrastructure projects and use observability data to resolve performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles operating production infrastructure at scale.
• 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Software engineering mindset with proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for infrastructure problems.
• Experience with observability-driven troubleshooting using metrics, logs, and traces.
• Must be based in Paris, France.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Kafka, ArgoCD, Aerospike, or Airflow in production.
• Background with service mesh technologies like Envoy Gateway or Istio.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and IaC (Terraform, Crossplane).
• Contributions to open-source platform tooling or CNCF projects.
• Experience with SRE practices and culture.
