Senior Mobile Ad Monetization Engineer (Android)

Location: 100% remote; multiple locations

Salary: €4,600–€7,000 per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain advertising infrastructure for Android applications.
• Integrate and manage AppLovin MAX, Google AdMob, Unity LevelPlay, and other mediation SDKs.
• Build ad loading, caching, preloading, request management, placement, and fallback mechanisms.
• Optimize fill rate, match rate, show rate, impression rate, eCPM, revenue, latency, memory usage, threading, and SDK initialization.
• Develop debugging, logging, telemetry, and A/B testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with backend, product, analytics, and AI teams on scalable, server-driven monetization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Java programming skills.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle.
• Experience integrating mediation platforms such as AppLovin MAX, AdMob, Unity LevelPlay, or Google Ad Manager.
• Experience optimizing ad loading performance, latency, and multithreading.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics, BigQuery, REST APIs, and backend-driven configurations.

Nice to have

• Experience with custom mediation adapters, RTB, server-driven monetization, AI-based optimization, or CI/CD.
