What you will do

• Synthesize lubricants, optimize reaction conditions, and perform purification and characterization of end-products.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to document research findings and progress.
• Support routine laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
• Operate independently on complex assignments with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry (preferably Organic/Organometallic) or a Degree with at least 3 years of technical experience.
• Strong background in the synthesis and characterization of organic and fluorocarbon materials.
• Proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated through publications and patents.
• Location: Must be based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPC, HPLC, LC-TOF, FTIR, or ToF-SIMS interpretation.
