Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services for a high-availability game distribution platform.
• Implement a multi-tenant architecture ensuring strict data isolation across partners.
• Develop storage and delivery solutions for large game files using object storage, CDNs, and resumable downloads.
• Build backend APIs and permission systems for the operations admin panel and publisher portal.
• Implement a search solution using Elasticsearch for full-text search and game filtering.
• Ensure system performance, security, and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang and experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Gemini, etc.).
• Solid skills in RESTful API design, microservice architecture, and relational database optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with NoSQL (Redis), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Shanghai.
• Understanding of the Chinese gaming industry and experience with game SDK integration (accounts, IAP, real-name verification).

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Proven track record of optimizing high-concurrency and high-traffic systems.
• Background in app stores or content/game distribution platforms.
• Knowledge of object storage and CDN for large-file delivery.
