Senior ATE Applications Engineer (Nextest)

Location: On-site in San Jose, CA. Must be local to San Jose; no relocation provided.

Salary: $198,300 – $317,400

What you will do

• Lead customer engagements and technical escalations for advanced memory devices including bring-up and characterization.
• Develop and deploy robust test program methodologies and correlation strategies for Flash, DRAM, and HBM.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Management to provide customer-driven input into hardware and software roadmaps.
• Build technical demonstrations and enablement materials to support customer evaluations.
• Act as a trusted technical interface for global customers during production ramp and mass-production deployment.
• Drive resolution of critical customer issues through structured debug and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years of experience in memory semiconductor ATE engineering.
• Must be local to San Jose, CA; no relocation provided.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for test applications.
• Hands-on experience testing DRAM and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM).

Nice to have

• Experience with Nextest Magnum or Advantest memory test platforms.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing test flows.
• High-speed serial interface testing experience.
• Prior involvement in customer evaluations or pre-sales support.
