Bilingual Collections Specialist (Finance): Managing delinquent accounts and securing payments for sustainable financing solutions with an accent on negotiation, persuasion, and customer communication. Focus on maintaining collection metrics, resolving loan delinquencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Location: On-site in Mexico City

Salary: MXN $89.33/hour + bonus

What you will do

  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls with delinquent borrowers to resolve payment issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to bring loans to a current status.
  • Process payments for accounts with past due balances.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer contacts and payment activities.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection and performance metrics.
  • Ensure all activities remain in compliance with company collections policies.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections.
  • Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and persuasion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional demeanor and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Mexico City.

Nice to have

  • Prior call center experience with financial products.
