Senior Digital Learning Specialist (Education/SaaS): Leading the design, development, and quality assurance of innovative digital learning solutions with an accent on SCORM-compliant eLearning and performance-focused instructional design. Location: Must reside in New Zealand. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office) required if within commutable distance to an office; remote options available for those outside commutable distance within New Zealand.

What you will do

• Design and develop complex, scalable digital learning solutions including eLearning modules and interactive SCORM packages.
• Lead the end-to-end eLearning design process from analysis and storyboarding to final publishing.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into engaging digital content.
• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance to ensure instructional soundness, accessibility, and technical compliance.
• Apply generative AI to enhance learning design workflows and team capabilities.
• Mentor the design team and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate learning effectiveness and ROI.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in digital learning design, eLearning development, or instructional design.
• Full working rights in New Zealand without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theories, and digital learning strategies.
• Mastery of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Vyond.
• Strong understanding of LMS platforms, xAPI, and SCORM standards.
• Digital portfolio of SCORM files showcasing hands-on experience is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Certifications such as ATD, CIPD, or PMP.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software.
