TL;DR
HR Generalist (Pipe Yard): Provide day-to-day HR guidance for hourly associates and exempt leaders across fabrication, yard operations, shipping, and receiving with an accent on employee engagement, leadership development, and workplace relations. Focus on building consistent HR practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by driving talent management, HR compliance, investigations, and HR metrics reporting.

Location: Fulton, MS

Salary: $4,325.00 - $6,916.67 (monthly estimate for salaried roles or hourly for other roles)

What you will do

  • Assess and improve HR policies, programs, and processes; recommend and implement solutions.
  • Partner with site leadership on associate engagement, retention, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Analyze and maintain HR metrics and reporting (turnover, staffing, attendance, engagement, and other site indicators).
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and talent resource coordination to meet staffing needs.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action processes, and workforce relations.
  • Support workplace investigations, HR audits, compliance activities, and change management in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, warehouse, or operations environments.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to build partnerships with hourly associates, supervisors, and leadership.
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective project management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
