Nocturnist Physician (Urgent Care)

Location: Must be based in a U.S. state eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)

Salary: $213,000/yr on average (guaranteed base + equity + benefits + productivity incentives)

What you will do

• Perform virtual examinations, diagnose, and recommend treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and accurate medical records.
• Manage acute care needs, chronic disease conditions, and mental health concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate consultations or referrals.
• Educate and counsel patients on their health conditions and treatment paths.
• Provide administrative support and cross-coverage for laboratory test result reviews.

Requirements

• Must be board-certified in Family Medicine or dual-boarded in Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Minimum 3+ years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state and reside in an IMLC-eligible state.
• Must be comfortable providing care for all ages, from newborns to adults.
• Must be available for night shifts (11p–6a) and every other weekend.
• Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency.

• Multistate licensure.
• Experience with video-based telemedicine visits.
• Proficiency with Athena EMR.
• Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners.
