Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (React/Postgres): Building and shipping high-quality, scalable features end-to-end across frontend UI and backend services/APIs with an accent on React-based UI craftsmanship, API/data-model design, and performance/observability. Focus on owning product areas from discovery through launch and iteration while contributing to architecture decisions and engineering standards.

Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site, 4 days/week Monday–Thursday)

Salary: $205K–$225K + equity

What you will do

• Build and ship scalable full-stack features across frontend UI, backend services, and APIs.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate complex problems into user-centered solutions.
• Design and evolve backend systems including APIs, data models, and services consumed by web and mobile clients.
• Build performant, accessible, and maintainable frontend experiences using React and modern web technologies.
• Design and optimize relational data models in Postgres and improve system performance and observability.
• Own features end-to-end, from discovery and design through launch and iteration, including code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience building production software with meaningful fullstack or cross-stack contributions.
• Strong frontend fundamentals: React and JavaScript/TypeScript, plus solid HTML and CSS.
• Backend experience building and consuming APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL) with production exposure to TypeScript and at least one of: Java/Kotlin or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing relational schemas and working with Postgres.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
