TL;DR
Outage & Material Planner (Engineering): Coordinating maintenance and construction outages for the Guayama power plant with an accent on system reliability, safety compliance, and long-term planning. Focus on optimizing outage schedules, managing maintenance budgets (CapEx/OpEx), and developing data-driven tools to improve operational efficiency.

Location: Must be based in Guayama, Puerto Rico

What you will do

  • Coordinate planned transmission, generation, and interconnection system maintenance and construction projects.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve operational issues and optimize system availability.
  • Maintain a comprehensive 5-year outage plan and schedule.
  • Manage maintenance plans and create requisitions for stock items, materials, and services.
  • Control budgets for capital projects and major annual maintenance.
  • Develop and present outage management data analysis tools and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Planning and/or Maintenance.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent certification required.
  • OSHA Certification required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
