Location: Remote (United States). Candidate must be able to obtain and hold Secret-level US DoD/DoW or higher security clearance.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end development of high-value bid submissions for U.S. government hardware R&D.
- Build partnerships with product development teams focusing on quantum computing platforms and foundational technology.
- Identify relevant funding opportunities and develop business cases for pursuit.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure proper budgeting, resourcing, and timely submissions.
- Track federal government spending trends and monitor key competitor activities.
- Engage with government program managers leading portfolios in target areas.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in federal proposal development.
- Educational background in physics, engineering, materials science, or a similar relevant field.
- Demonstrated success in writing basic research proposals for US government funding.
- Ability to obtain and hold Secret-level US DoD/DoW or higher security clearance.
- Significant experience in technical writing and presentation within the government space.
- Strong ability to leverage cross-functional teams in geographically distributed organizations.
