Location: Must be based in the United States (remote or from hubs in San Francisco or New York)

Salary: $127,000 - $221,000 USD

What you will do

• Support preparation of quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, including financial statements and XBRL tagging.
• Research and draft technical accounting position memos for complex transactions including equity compensation, business combinations, and leases.
• Manage monthly equity accounting journal entries and maintain roll forward schedules.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses.
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, Tax, Stock Administration, and Investor Relations.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal accounting policies and process documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) or at a public company in technical accounting or SEC reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 718, ASC 805, ASC 350, and ASC 842.
• Hands-on experience supporting or preparing SEC filings (10-Q / 10-K).
• Excellent communication skills for researching and documenting complex accounting issues.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• Experience using Workiva.
• Prior exposure to equity compensation accounting, M&A transactions, or SaaS revenue recognition.
