TL;DR

Senior Principal, Institutional Sales (Web3): Driving institutional OTC and execution business growth by managing high-touch relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, and crypto-native institutions. Focus on expanding revenue across spot, derivatives, and structured flows while partnering with trading teams to optimize execution quality and liquidity.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City, NY (Hybrid: 2 days/week in-office)

Salary: $200,000 base + commission-based bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Originate and grow institutional OTC relationships with hedge funds, prop firms, and family offices.
  • Drive spot, derivatives, and structured flow through the OTC platform.
  • Provide high-touch coverage, market color, and trade ideas to institutional clients.
  • Partner with Trading to improve spreads, liquidity depth, and execution quality.
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across custody, staking, and derivatives.
  • Represent the company in sales cycles, client engagements, and industry conferences.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in institutional sales, OTC trading, or execution roles.
  • Deep existing relationships across hedge funds, prop trading firms, and asset managers.
  • Strong understanding of OTC market structure, liquidity dynamics, and derivatives.
  • Experience across traditional markets (FX, equities, commodities) or digital assets.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in-person at the New York City office twice a week.
