Project Management & Strategic Operations Director

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale strategic GRA programs across the full project lifecycle.
• Manage progress of workstream leads and/or subordinate project managers to deliver committed value within timeframes and budget.
• Track contingencies, monitor interdependencies and synergies, and manage scope, estimation, and issue/risk identification and resolution.
• Build detailed project plans and resource/budget/forecast models; develop statements of work and stakeholder management plans.
• Oversee post-acquisition integration for GRA, including operational alignment, technology consolidation, data/document transfer, and talent integration.
• Evaluate program costs/benefits, report financial/status updates to leadership, and ensure quality/reliability and adoption targets are met.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in cross-functional execution of medium to large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to lead across divisions and functions and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong project/operations management skills, including detailed planning, budgeting/forecasting, and contingency/dependency tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights; ability to handle ambiguity.

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $185,400 - $278,200 (base range)
