Development Project Manager (Commercial Real Estate): Leading the execution of ground-up developments, redevelopments, and capital initiatives across a commercial portfolio with an accent on project lifecycle management, budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on driving projects from preconstruction through completion while ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and financial objectives.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of commercial development projects from design through closeout.
  • Manage budgets, review pay applications, and track financial performance.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, safety, and quality.
  • Lead procurement, bidding, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to mitigate delays.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial construction or development project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven success in ground-up developments or large tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of AIA contracts and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in construction management software like Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
  • Valid Driver’s License required for travel to properties within the portfolio.
