TL;DR
Technician Sr Specialist (Manufacturing/Electromechanical): Perform electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of equipment and systems with an accent on interpreting engineering drawings and building assemblies with minimal instructions. Focus on hands-on electrical cable/harness and connector assembly, continuity checks and in-process quality inspections, and rework/testing of prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.

What you will do
- Assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and/or systems.
- Construct and build electronic/mechanical/electromechanical assemblies with minimal work instructions.
- Interpret engineering drawings and create initial layouts.
- Perform hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks across repetitive and non-repetitive production operations.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and perform continuity checks on work in process and completed work.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions.
Requirements
- Skilled with harness fabrication and cable and connector assembly.
- Ability to use tools and materials for electrical cable/wire harness fabrication and basic mechanical assembly.
- Possess or be able to obtain IPC 620 and IPC 610 certifications.
- Strong mechanical background with working knowledge of drawings, measurements, and tool identification.
- US Citizen with ability to maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- Ability to travel to remote sites to support field operations.
