What you will do
- Conduct quality control reviews of mortgage servicing activities including customer service, cash posting, and escrow administration.
- Evaluate servicing practices for compliance with federal and state regulations, investor requirements, and internal policies.
- Identify defects, exceptions, and control weaknesses while documenting findings and recommendations.
- Maintain thorough documentation to support all review conclusions.
- Prepare detailed quality control reports and assist with tracking remediation efforts.
- Stay current with FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA servicing requirements.
Requirements
- Must reside within the United States
- 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience with in-depth knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, GNMA, and Conventional guidelines.
- Strong understanding of loan default, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, foreclosure, and claims requirements.
- Knowledge of Loan Servicing Standards including RESPA and TILA.
- Familiarity with disclosures, TRID documents, and residential servicing regulatory documentation.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
