What you will do
- Define and execute application modernization strategies for legacy platforms and user experiences.
- Design and promote API-first, microservices-first, and event-driven architectures.
- Provide architectural direction and mentorship to Team Leads and engineering squads.
- Own modernization roadmaps by evaluating systems, creating migration strategies, and assessing risks and target architectures.
- Influence stakeholders by presenting proposals and negotiating technical approaches with business and client leaders.
- Establish enterprise-wide architecture standards and support integrations involving legacy ESBs and modern integration platforms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Telecom, Contact Center, Customer Experience (CX), or related large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven track record migrating legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures.
- Strong expertise in API-first architecture principles, microservices patterns, and event-driven/distributed systems.
- Hands-on cloud experience with AWS (preferred), or Azure/GCP; cloud certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with modern frontend and UX frameworks to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Nice to have
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms.
- Deep familiarity with contact center technologies and customer engagement software.
