Product/Test Engineer, Entry Level (Automotive) (Semiconductor Test/ATE): Developing and deploying scan-based test solutions for advanced automotive semiconductor microprocessors with an accent on DFT methodologies, ATPG patterns, silicon debug, and automotive quality practices. Focus on validating scan patterns on ATE platforms, analyzing production data, supporting silicon bring-up and qualification, and developing AI solutions for test development and data analysis.
Location: Austin, TX — Oakhill office

What you will do
- Support the development and implementation of scan-based test solutions for semiconductor devices.
- Collaborate with DFT and Design teams on scan architectures, ATPG patterns, MBIST, LBIST, and test requirements.
- Convert, emulate, and validate scan patterns on Automated Test Equipment platforms.
- Assist with silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, and production release activities.
- Analyze test results, debug pattern execution issues, and identify test quality gaps using simulation and production data.
- Develop AI solutions to improve test development efficiency and data analysis, while documenting test plans and engineering findings.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation within the last 12 months.
- Strong fundamentals in circuits, semiconductors, and computer architecture.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in C, C++, Python, Perl, or similar languages.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a global, cross-functional technical R&D environment.
Nice to have
- Internship or project experience in IC semiconductor testing, validation, verification, or DFT, including scan or BIST.
