TL;DR
Hardware Team Lead (Electronics): Leading the design and development of electrical hardware from prototyping to volume manufacturing with an accent on board design, RF systems, and power circuits. Focus on establishing engineering standards, managing external design houses, and ensuring product testability and reliability in the field.

What you will do

  • Lead, grow, and hire the hardware engineering team.
  • Define technical direction and hardware design standards across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from prototype to design freeze and manufacturing.
  • Manage external design houses and suppliers to ensure quality and accountability.
  • Develop ATP, calibration procedures, and NPI packages including BOMs and test documentation.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on field issues and implement permanent fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of experience in electronics engineering (analog/digital board design, layout, debug).
  • 2-3 years of experience managing hardware or multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of taking hardware products through to manufacturing.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Altium board design tools.
  • Hebrew and English language proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling from low-volume prototypes to volume manufacturing.
  • Background in RF/EM or signal-intensive sensing systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
