What you will do

• Own and expand the cross-platform player testing strategy focusing on automation supplemented by manual testing.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites to improve coverage and reduce regression cycles.
• Validate QoE metrics and various playback types including TVOD, AVOD, Live, and DVR.
• Lead QA efforts across Web, iOS, Android, Roku, Smart TVs, Consoles, and Set-top boxes.
• Analyze log files and runtime documentation to identify, document, and resolve defects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video playback streaming QA.
• Proven experience developing automated test frameworks and implementing diverse test strategies.
• Deep understanding of streaming technologies: DRM, SCTE-35, Closed Captioning, Digital Ad Insertion, HLS, DASH, and CMAF.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide detailed root cause analysis.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
