What you will do
- Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of graduate students, tracking research areas and professional goals.
- Own the execution of 10-12 annual programs for PhD students, managing topics, speakers, and logistics.
- Conduct regular digital outreach to ensure relationship continuity and provide research insights to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at academic conferences and prospecting events to expand the intellectual network.
- Maintain accurate engagement records and activity metrics within CRM systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align graduate programming with broader organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Professional experience in higher education, academic administration, or nonprofit programming.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with defined timelines and deliverables.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for academic audiences.
Nice to have
- Terminal degree (PhD, JD, DPhil, or equivalent).
- Experience designing or executing academic programming specifically for graduate students.
- Familiarity with classical liberal ideas and the IHS mission.
