TL;DR

What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software integration issues, merge conflicts, and compilation errors.
- Build and support AOSP images and maintain build infrastructure across AWS and on-premises solutions.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Groovy for build pipelines and system maintenance.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Gerrit, GitHub Actions, and the Google repo tool.
- Implement monitoring and metrics gathering using Grafana and Prometheus to improve build system performance.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA, and Production teams to deliver quality software releases.
Requirements
- Strong experience in build integration and release engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Android build systems (AOSP, Make, Soong).
- Solid knowledge of Git, repo, branching strategies, and manifest management.
- Practical experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Buildkite.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and developing automation scripts in Python and Bash.
- Must be based in Ukraine
Nice to have
- Experience working with BSPs from vendors like MediaTek or Qualcomm.
- Knowledge of OTA systems and update frameworks.
- Familiarity with Android system architecture (HAL, framework, services).
- Experience supporting large-scale device deployments and telemetry-driven validation.
