Senior Test Engineer (SQL/ETL)

What you will do

• Implement and execute tests across all planned levels, documenting deviations and evaluating results.
• Develop, validate, and update test documentation including test plans and test cases.
• Analyze and assess project requirements to create quality control process artifacts.
• Perform deep data validation using row counts, checksums, and before/after comparisons.
• Mentor other test engineers and establish/improve test processes on the project.
• Measure system performance and automate testing in collaboration with automation experts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar manual testing role.
• Must be based in Ukraine, Poland, or Croatia.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• Deep understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and strong API testing skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.
