AV Manager (Audio-Visual Systems): Managing audio-visual systems and event technology at a luxury hotel with an accent on technical operations, team leadership, and guest-facing event delivery. Focus on planning complex event setups, maintaining sound, lighting, video, IPTV, and control systems, and managing AV projects, budgets, suppliers, and compliance.

operates Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont hotel located in the Abraj Al Bait Complex near the Masjid Al Haraam and the Holy Ka’aba, with 1,650 rooms.
What you will do
- Oversee the setup, operation, maintenance, and optimization of audio, lighting, LED, projection, video conferencing, control, IPTV, digital signage, and entertainment systems.
- Plan and manage AV requirements for conferences, meetings, shows, special events, VIP functions, and corporate events.
- Provide technical leadership during events, including stage setup, sound checks, lighting programming, wireless microphone systems, DMX addressing, and artist technical requirements.
- Lead, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate AV supervisors and technicians.
- Support hotel renovations, upgrades, and AV capital projects from planning through implementation.
- Manage operating and capital budgets, suppliers, procurement, documentation, maintenance records, and health and safety compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an engineering department, preferably in a luxury property.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Leadership ability and experience developing others.
- Goal-oriented, results-focused, energetic, self-motivated, and able to work as a team player.
- Ability to support compliance with hotel standards, ISO integrated management systems, and applicable health and safety regulations.
