Salary: €60,000 – €90,000 base per year (OTE €69,000 – €103,500)

What you will do

• Own the enterprise data strategy and architecture to unify disparate company-wide data sources into a single data lake.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical direction and coaching.
• Partner with Product Management to translate telemetry and usage data into insights for upsell and churn prediction.
• Manage senior stakeholders and present data strategies and recommendations to C-level management.
• Drive the design of the analytics layer, including semantic modeling and dashboarding in BI tools.
• Champion an AI-ready data strategy, ensuring governance and structures support future LLM and AI use cases.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Madrid, Spain.
• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Architect, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Expertise in AWS (Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift) and modern data stack tools like dbt.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or Tableau.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building AI agents or RAG systems.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
