TL;DR
Senior UI Artist (Gamedev): Creating beautiful, polished UI art and motion treatments for Clash Royale with an accent on visual polish, readability, and user experience. Focus on translating wireframes into production-ready assets and evolving the game's visual language.

Location: Onsite in Helsinki, Finland. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

  • Create high-quality UI screens, elements, and assets for a live mobile game.
  • Develop polished UI animations and motion treatments to make the interface feel responsive and alive.
  • Translate wireframes and feature designs into production-ready visual experiences.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure correct asset implementation in-game.
  • Maintain and evolve the game's UI visual language while respecting the existing art direction.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable UI components and production standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist, Game Artist, or 2D Artist in the gaming industry.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent UI craft, visual polish, and attention to detail.
  • Expertise in layout, composition, color, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience creating UI animations, transitions, and interaction feedback.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and a willingness to learn Adobe Animate / Flash.
  • Must be based in or able to relocate to Helsinki, Finland.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a live game environment or a passion for Clash Royale.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Animate / Flash or 3D software.
  • Background in Graphic Design or Marketing Art.
  • Experience with LiveOps features and maintaining UI style guides.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve production efficiency.
