Senior MLOps Engineer (Python/AWS): Building and productionizing machine learning pipelines that power Klarna's credit decisioning with an accent on reliability, scalability, and real-world deployment. Focus on scaling in-house data science capabilities and deploying tree-based models using AWS SageMaker.

What you will do
- Build and productionize machine learning pipelines for credit decisioning.
- Take models from development through to production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Develop Python code to train and deploy models into production.
- Build and maintain infrastructure to support ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand in-house data science capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python for data science and machine learning development.
- Hands-on experience productionizing ML models and pipelines.
- Practical experience with tree-based models.
- Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of MLOps practices for scaling models.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Nice to have
- Experience working in credit risk, fraud, or financial services.
- Experience building data pipelines at scale within a large DS organization.
- Familiarity with model monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for ML deployment.
