What you will do

• Perform semiconductor wafer processing and characterization activities in the cleanroom.
• Set up, operate, and monitor semiconductor equipment and record precise operational data.
• Maintain process consistency and prevent deviations by monitoring critical process parameters.
• Collaborate with R&D and process engineers to develop and refine semiconductor processes.
• Liaise with equipment engineers and tool vendors regarding maintenance and upgrades.
• Manage lab consumables inventory and ensure strict compliance with cleanroom and EHS regulations.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience operating semiconductor equipment (wet and dry processes) in R&D or production cleanrooms.
• Minimum of 1 year of semiconductor cleanroom experience.
• Completed BTEC-Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address processing challenges.
• Availability to work in the Abingdon office 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

• Completed BTEC-Higher National Diploma (HND).
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor R&D or high-volume manufacturing.
• Familiarity with semiconductor wafer testing and data analysis techniques.
