Sr. DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and operate AWS infrastructure automation using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Build self-service capabilities for autonomous infrastructure consumption via Kubernetes-native APIs and GitOps workflows.
• Implement AIOps practices for intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted incident triage.
• Develop and maintain platform observability using Datadog and Splunk.
• Collaborate with SRE and DBA teams to optimize AWS costs (FinOps) and ensure high availability and DR readiness.
• Provide L2 support for automation systems and maintain production runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience building SaaS platforms on AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform and platform engineering (self-service ecosystems).
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes workloads, networking, security, and operators/CRDs.
• Strong command of CI/CD and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Kargo, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in scripting or development using Python, Bash, or Go.

Nice to have

• Experience building Kubernetes operators or controllers.
• Familiarity with Cilium or eBPF-based CNI.
• Knowledge of secret management tools like Vault.
• Experience with NetApp ONTAP or AWS storage services (S3, EBS, EFS, FSx).
• Cloud cost optimization (FinOps) experience.
