Intern QA Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Intern QA Engineer (Fintech): Participating in end-to-end testing and automating product features for financial products across the GCC with an accent on system-level quality and reliability. Focus on building automated test suites for APIs and integrations, analyzing root causes of bugs, and improving system testability.

Location: Saudi nationals only. Location is flexible (can be based outside KSA), but office-first in Riyadh where possible.

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing of product features and system integrations.
• Develop and contribute to automated test suites for APIs and integrations.
• Conduct manual testing and automate repetitive test cases.
• Maintain and extend existing test frameworks and test data.
• Analyze bugs and perform root-cause analysis to improve quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to enhance testability.

Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national (Saudi passport required).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go preferred).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and unit testing principles.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and client-server architecture (gRPC/REST).
• Ability to analyze existing code and work in POSIX/Unix environments.
• Commitment to a full-time level of engagement throughout the internship.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience writing unit tests or using frameworks like pytest or JUnit.
• Knowledge of mocking/stubbing techniques and version control (Git).
• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
