Data Analyst (Retail)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (SQL/Power BI): Performing data extraction, cleaning, and modeling to support business decisions with an accent on retail metrics and visualization. Focus on building Power BI dashboards, optimizing SQL queries, and integrating data from GCP/BigQuery.

Location: Must be based in Portugal (Hybrid: 2x/week in Alfragide). Candidates must have Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Extract, clean, and model data using advanced SQL queries.
• Develop data visualizations and reporting dashboards using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Analyze and monitor retail industry metrics such as sales, stocks, and margins.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery for data management.
• Provide data-driven insights as a consultant for various clients.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and modeling.
• Solid experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Fluency in Portuguese (C1 level).
• English proficiency (B2/C1 level).
• Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud environment (Google BigQuery).
• Prior experience working in the retail industry.
