Laboratory Equipment Specialist (E-mobility)

Location: Onsite at one of hirify.global locations (Bolzano, Bergamo, Bologna, Munich, or Charlotte)

Salary: € 45,000 – € 68,000 (including 20% variable bonus)

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of laboratory equipment, including registration, traceability, and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain equipment records, calibration schedules, and inspection activities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs with internal stakeholders and external providers.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Support the procurement, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of lab equipment.
• Drive continuous improvements in equipment management and maintenance processes.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in the maintenance and management of laboratory equipment and technical systems.
• Knowledge of calibration processes and quality standards such as ISO 17025.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Fluent English and fluency in either German or Italian.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
