What you will do
- Develop drivers, middleware, and system components in Rust for MCU platforms (MCX, LPC, i.MX RT, Kinetis).
- Perform low-level bring-up, including clocking, interrupts, and memory layout.
- Design safe and maintainable Rust abstractions and async applications using the Embassy framework.
- Debug hardware issues using JTAG, tracing, and lab equipment.
- Collaborate with HW and SW teams to influence the architecture of Rust-based components.
- Utilize AI tools to optimize system design, performance, and correctness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong background in C and/or Rust.
- Deep understanding of MCU architecture (specifically ARM Cortex-M).
- Experience with low-level debugging, peripherals, and hardware bring-up.
- Valid visa and work permit to work in the Czech Republic.
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust specifically in embedded systems.
- Knowledge of async programming or RTOS concepts.
- Familiarity with MCU SDKs like MCUXpresso.
