TL;DR
Solutions Architect (Big Data): Driving the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform by designing complex data solutions and providing technical expertise to enterprise clients with an accent on big data analytics and cloud architecture. Focus on building successful customer relationships, authoring reference architectures, and guiding clients through complex technical implementations.

Location: Singapore (Onsite)

What you will do

  • Form successful relationships with clients to provide technical and business value.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation of the Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
  • Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to build the local Databricks community.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to drive successful platform adoption.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with coding in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies and public cloud platforms.
  • Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs.
  • Willingness to learn Spark.
  • Ability to communicate technical and value propositions to diverse audiences.
