Material Planning Officer (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Hanoi, Vietnam

What you will do

• Determine material requirements and generate purchase orders.
• Control open purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules.
• Track shipment status daily and update delivery information in SAP.
• Handle supplier complaints and follow up on claims related to non-conforming goods.
• Review raw material stock levels and take action to maintain target inventory.
• Update reports, databases, and SAP master data, and participate in departmental improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in material management or operative purchasing in a manufacturing company.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical, critical-thinking, communication, negotiation, and strategic skills.
• Fluent English for spoken and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience using Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience working for an FDI company.
