Salary: $178,190 - $213,725 yearly

What you will do

• Provide expert legal counsel on AI tools, models, and data-driven initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, technology, and SaaS agreements.
• Identify and assess legal risks related to intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to enable responsible AI deployment.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and legal expenses.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AI-related legal issues, including training data sourcing and AI output ownership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required.
• 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience in technology, AI, data, or intellectual property.
• Strong ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional legal matters.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver practical, business-oriented guidance.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

• Experience in the technology industry or with AI-driven products.
• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Strong background in intellectual property, including copyright and licensing.
