TL;DR
Technical Marketing Manager (EV Charging): Translating networked EV charging hardware, energy management software, and fleet solutions into technical content, product positioning, and sales enablement materials with an accent on OCPP, connected energy ecosystems, and customer-facing technical narratives. Focus on creating white papers, solution briefs, architecture diagrams, integration guides, demos, and competitive analyses while collaborating with engineering, product management, and solutions engineering teams.

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $125,000–$190,000 base salary annually, excluding equity, benefits, and variable pay.

What you will do

  • Translate complex EV charging products into clear, buyer-focused technical narratives and positioning.
  • Create technical content including white papers, solution briefs, competitive analyses, architecture diagrams, integration guides, and demos.
  • Enable sales and partners with accurate product messaging, technical training materials, and supporting content.
  • Maintain and scale technical content as products and capabilities evolve.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and solutions engineering teams.
  • Represent technical products through industry events, webinars, and customer briefings.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, solutions marketing, sales engineering, or solutions engineering for complex technical products.
  • Technical background in EV charging, energy management, fleet electrification, charging infrastructure, or related energy technologies.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as OCPP and connected energy ecosystems.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
  • Hands-on product experience and close collaboration with engineering, product management, and solutions engineering teams.
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation, research, and analysis.

Nice to have

  • Experience creating competitive technical comparisons, architecture diagrams, and integration guides.
  • Experience supporting product launches through technical positioning, sales enablement, and training materials.
  • Public speaking experience at industry events, webinars, or customer briefings.
