What you will do

• Develop worldbuilding documents, characters, and major story arcs for an original IP.
• Write character dialogue and manage in-game text including localization strings.
• Collaborate with Creative and Art Directors to ensure narrative alignment with game systems.
• Support marketing narrative efforts and feature-specific storytelling.
• Assist the Narrative Lead in maintaining documentation and narrative quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in writing for games.
• Experience writing for ARPGs or MMORPGs.
• Strong understanding of heroic action IP and player-facing storytelling.
• Understanding of game design principles and best practices.
• Must be able to work on a hybrid basis in Shanghai, China.
