Salary: $125,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do
- Own the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and performance management.
- Manage payroll administration for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Lead benefits evaluation, annual renewals, and day-to-day administration.
- Build and maintain scalable timekeeping, attendance, and wage-and-hour processes for manufacturing staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, manager coaching, and HR compliance.
- Partner with EHS and Compliance teams on safety training, workers' compensation, and injury reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, including senior-level roles at high-growth companies.
- Strong knowledge of federal and California employment law.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll for non-exempt and hourly workforces.
- Proven ability to own and implement HRIS and payroll systems.
- Exceptional discretion and judgment in handling sensitive employee matters.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Prior experience as the first or early HR hire at a Series A–C company.
- Experience supporting a scaling manufacturing or warehouse workforce.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
