Legal Engineer - Public Sector (Libra - Legal AI Assistant)

Location: Hybrid role in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, with at least eight days per month at the office

What you will do

• Design, configure, and test AI-powered legal workflows and Libra Assistants across key legal domains.
• Work directly with law firms and corporate legal departments to understand use cases, map processes, and implement tailored solutions.
• Translate legal expertise into structured data, prompts, and workflows that produce accurate and legally robust outputs.
• Support customer pilots and proof-of-concepts using real legal documents, templates, and research workflows.
• Advise clients on best practices for AI-assisted legal work and create learning materials for Libra Academy.
• Share product feedback with Product and Engineering teams to improve prompt quality, accuracy, and domain coverage.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Dutch law.
• 2–5 years of experience in private practice or an in-house legal role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Interest in technology, AI, legal innovation, and automation, with a builder mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and legal stakeholders in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Advanced or fluent Dutch and professional English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in legal tech, product management, or automation projects.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments and agile methodologies.
