What you will do

  • Respond to employee HR inquiries and manage lifecycle processes including hiring, termination, and leaves of absence.
  • Administer non-statutory benefits, including company housing, savings plans, insurance, and relocation expenses.
  • Coordinate corporate pension and health insurance administration while ensuring compliance with local authorities.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and generate regular HR reports for stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary coordination point for HR services in Japan, identifying process bottlenecks and driving efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on best practices and ensure service consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of HR operations experience, specifically in benefits, pension, or health insurance administration.
  • Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Japan without sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working in an international, team-based service delivery environment.
