What you will do

• Build and improve services for ISR, PPR, and image optimization using Go, Lua, and TypeScript.
• Execute projects independently from implementation through safe, feature-flagged rollouts.
• Monitor production systems by building dashboards, metrics, and alerts.
• Contribute to observability, logging, and end-to-end testing suites.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident follow-ups to improve system resilience.
• Collaborate with partner teams like Next.js and CI/CD through design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production.
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or a comparable systems language.
• Solid understanding of HTTP and web fundamentals (caching, proxies, request lifecycle).
• Experience writing tested, instrumented, and documented production code.
• Ability to work in a polyglot stack and investigate complex distributed systems.
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with caching systems like Redis, Memcached, or CDNs.
• AWS experience (S3, ElastiCache).
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks (Next.js) and rendering modes (SSR/SSG/ISR).
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Honeycomb.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Kubernetes.
