What you will do
- Own and drive the quality strategy for a dedicated development group.
- Serve as the focal point for QA status, priorities, risks, and release readiness.
- Define and enforce QA best practices, testing standards, and quality processes.
- Lead testing activities including planning, execution, regression, and release validation.
- Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps leadership to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Mentor automation engineers and review test plans, automation coverage, and strategies.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in QA, QA automation, or test architecture.
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience in TypeScript or Python.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and release processes.
- Experience with API, UI, integration, and E2E testing using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Pytest.
- Technical proficiency in Kubernetes and asynchronous flows.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate quality status and risks.
Nice to have
- Experience in cybersecurity, data security, SaaS, or cloud-native environments.
- Experience with Docker, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Experience defining QA KPIs, dashboards, and automation metrics.
