TL;DR
Automation Infrastructure Engineer (QA Automation) (TypeScript/Python): Building scalable QA automation infrastructure, shared frameworks, CI/CD integrations, reporting systems, and self-service testing tools with an accent on reliability, scalability, and developer enablement. Focus on integrating component, API, backend, frontend, and end-to-end tests, investigating flaky failures, and improving automation observability across R&D.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain shared QA automation infrastructure, frameworks, libraries, and internal tools.
- Enable self-service test creation, execution, debugging, monitoring, and maintenance for developers and QA engineers.
- Support component, integration, system, API, backend, frontend, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution reliability, scalability, performance, and debugging.
- Build reporting, dashboards, monitoring, and KPI capabilities for automation and quality trends.
- Troubleshoot flaky tests, framework issues, infrastructure failures, and CI/CD pipeline problems while collaborating with QA, development, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with TypeScript and/or Python.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing maintainable, scalable solutions.
- Proven experience building automation infrastructure, shared libraries, internal tools, or self-service platforms at scale.
- Experience with Playwright, Pytest, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, scalable test execution, debugging, reporting, and flaky test investigation.
Nice to have
- Experience with test optimization, stabilization, parallelization, failure tracking, dashboards, automation KPIs, or quality reporting.
- Experience with microservices, Kafka, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, data, cloud-native, or enterprise software environments.
