Solution Engineer, Specialist (Airports Solutions)/ Pre-Sales and Solution Architect Experience

Location: Amman, Jordan. Hybrid arrangement with work from home up to 2 days per week; a Flex-Location benefit allows working from any location in the world for up to 30 days per year.

What you will do

• Design and position airport technology solutions across the MEA region with Sales, Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams.
• Lead pre-sales activities including qualification, solution shaping, proposals, workshops, and RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
• Translate airport operational requirements into robust, scalable solutions covering passenger processing, biometrics, digital identity, baggage management, airport operations, and smart airports.
• Define integration approaches across airport, airline, cloud, infrastructure, network, API, and third-party systems.
• Present solutions and conduct technical workshops and demonstrations with customers.
• Assess technical risks, dependencies, compliance requirements, resilience, availability, scalability, and maintainability for 24/7 airport operations.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in IT, aviation or air transport technology, airport systems, solution engineering, or pre-sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
• Strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, multi-vendor ecosystems, and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with customer-facing pre-sales engagements, including workshops, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Understanding of airport domains such as passenger processing, biometrics, baggage systems, airport operations, and integration platforms.
• Relevant TOGAF, cloud, virtualization, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certifications are applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience in airport, airline, aviation, or other large-scale mission-critical operational environments.
• Familiarity with ICAO, IATA, and ACI frameworks and standards.
• Experience with airport digital transformation, smart airport, or passenger experience modernization programs.
